About the UK Statutory Redundancy Pay Calculator

Use this redundancy pay calculator to estimate statutory redundancy pay in the UK for redundancies on or after 6 April 2026 (2026/27 rates). Enter your age, complete years of service and annual, monthly or weekly pay.

Statutory redundancy pay depends on your age during each year of employment: half a week’s pay for each full year under 22, one week’s pay for each full year from 22 to 40, and one and a half weeks’ pay for each full year aged 41 or over. Service is capped at 20 years, and weekly pay is capped at £751.

This estimate covers statutory redundancy pay only. It is not notice pay, holiday pay, unpaid wages or contractual/enhanced redundancy. You usually need at least 2 years’ continuous service to qualify.

For official guidance, see GOV.UK statutory redundancy pay and the GOV.UK redundancy pay calculator.

Results are estimates. Eligibility can depend on your employment status and whether suitable alternative work was offered.
